H2O Care was founded by Mark St. Hilaire with the help, support and investment of its employees. Early in his career as a Master Plumber, Mark worked for many homeowners with plumbing issues that clearly related to the incoming water quality. In 1989 he formed AquaTech Water Systems. In 1999 AquaTech entered into a merger with Atlas Water Systems, Inc. to combine the commercial water quality expertise of Atlas with the residential expertise of AquaTech and greatly expanded the geographical service area. In 2025, Aquatek Filter and Pump and SafeWell also joined H2O Care to expand its core services further into well pumps, and more specialized water testing for emerging contaminants, and bring together the teams. Today, H2O Care has over 10,000 happy customers across New England.
